Munich Security Conference // Bogdan Aurescu proposed speeding the European and Euro-Atlantic support for the Republic of Moldova and Georgia
Foreign Minister Bogdan Aurescu emphasized on Friday, at the Security Conference in Munich, the serious security threats in the Black Sea region, generated by the war waged by Russia against Ukraine, as well as the pressure exerted on neighboring states, especially the Republic of Moldova. In this sense, the head of Romanian diplomacy requested the transition to NATO's advanced defense on the entire eastern flank, including the Black Sea area, insisting that an effective deterrence of Russia can only be done through a strong defense, informs caleaeuropeana.ro.
